In the beginning there were only probabilities. The universe could only come into existence if someone observed it. It does not matter that the observers turned up several billion years later. The universe exists because we are aware of it.

Is it bottles in different colours? What ever it is it looks really nice.

  2. Sean Jeating says:

This does not lack of correctness. :)

  3. Ginnie says:

Is this the same thing as asking if a tree falls in the forest and no one is there, will there be a sound??? :)

  4. JD says:

Albert Einstein had difficulty with that theory-
“I like to think the moon is there even if I am not looking at it.”

    :)

    • CherryPie says:

I think I might miss the moon too. But there are somethings I might like to disappear after I close my eyes and open them again…
      :-) :-)

This makes me think deeply about what is, and what I imagine, or was told, could be.
A very curious photo. It will be fun to see more. Thanks!

  6. Schrodinger's Cat (called Andrew) says:

The quote is, however, nonsense, probably; and quite possibly taken out of context. It refers to one extremely wacky view out of many, and one that misunderstands that interactions among phenomena are what are required (to collapse a probability wave equation, if that is what happens) not observations, for goodness sake, even though observations do require interactions. The misunderstanding got into the public consciousness and has taken a grip, even among many scientists. And anyway. Does anyone really think humans are and have been the only observers in the universe? Humanity makes me laugh (when it is not making me tear my fur out). Don’t know why I am bothering to comment here though, since everything and everybody other than me is all just a fickle figment of my imagination. But it gets lonely being on my own, so I pretend you all exist. Goodnight imaginary companions.

    • CherryPie says:

The quote is most definitely taken out of the context of where I read it ;-)

Humans as a race have an over inflated ego, they think they are the most important and most intelligent entities in the universe. That thought is not very humane…

I am hoping that we are not just fickle thoughts of each others imagination.

I will pinch myself to see if I wake up! I will let you know ;-)

  7. Oh My God!!!
