…Cherie’s Place – Thought for the Week
My contribution for Blog Blast for peace 2012:
When the heart is set right, then the personal life is cultivated. When the personal life is cultivated, then the home life is regulated. When the home life is regulated, the national life is orderly: And when the national life is orderly, the the world is at peace.
Confucious (551 – 479 BC)
And once the heart is set right, then comes the responsibility phase – to actually contribute something in return.
That is the point of the first line of the quote
And it all starts with the heart…
Lovely post
Peace to you!

“Dona nobis pacem”, indeed, please, whoever, if anyone or anything, has the power to grant us it.
I fear the power is only with us, collectively, which is so often the problem, because there are so often some who prefer the alternative.
But Dona nobis pacem.
I fear the power is only with us, collectively, which is so often the problem, because there are so often some who prefer the alternative.
That is true and everyone of us who understands that and wants peace has the responsibility to try to promote peace. Which a lot of us do even if we don’t outwardly state it in such ways.
Thank you
Peace to you and yours on this Blog Blast Day and in every day to come.
And to you and yours

Meaningful quote.
But first, I need to find my heart. ;o)
It is very careless to lose a heart…
