Photographing the Photographer

This weeks prompt was:

Try a portrait without showing the face of your subject. And with this, try to show the expressions, emotions, feelings and the personality of the moment. If you don’t want to try this on someone else – how about yourself?

This was a fun prompt which I didn’t get the chance to explore properly.  I had a busy weekend, was at work during the week and it was dark when I get home from work. Instead I have used the final photo in my Paris bathroom series which partly fits the prompt.

  1. Your various photos of yourself in a hotel bathroom are certainly a novel way of recording a trip to Paris.

I await the amazing view reflected from the mirror in the toilets of the Eiffel Tower

On this occasion the mirrors in the Eiffel Tower toilets didn’t attract my attention. Probably because I had my mind on escaping from my companions (who were focused on shopping coffee and things other than the special opportunity of seeing Paris in that way) so I could take photos as the mist lifted over Paris.

      Maybe next time ;-)

  2. Ha, this is a teaser shot!
