What a perfect quote…and such an exquisitely beautiful framing of the sun’s flower!
Thanks Marcie, I am glad you like my suns flower.
Depends what “return to nature” means. Living in a cave, no running water, no sewage system, chasing animals for food and wearing rough animal skins to try to keep warm, and no aspirin or antibiotics (or contraceptives)… I’d find that all very “difficult”. But stepping out my convenient car to go walking alone in the woods and swimming in the (warm) sea – lovely.
Well personally I was rather thinking along the lines of woods, trees, flowers, sitting outside late at night and gazing at the stars etc. Enjoying all their beauty and wonders.
Oh… I always forget: lovely photo as usual.
It’s a good thought Cherie… and this dark beauty on the sunflower is something that nature has given back to you in return….peter:)
The butterfly in the shade of the sunflower was a beautiful find
Nature’s littlest creatures lead us all!
They do
You don’t have to return to nature if you have never left?
That is true.
That’s where I’m currently headed back to.
Woodlands by any chance?
I often find that nature is the best cathedral there is
That is a lovely way of looking at it
That must have been one huge sunflower, when you see the size of that Red Admiral against it
It was, I was standing underneath it, there was a whole row of them.
I haven’t seen any red admiral yet this summer.
Saw some cabbage white last week.
And 2 mayflies today. ;o)
oh yes, plus 2 earwigs! ha
I saw my first red admiral of the year at the weekend
an unusual viewpoint. admirable attempt to get this view which was perhaps would have escaped the attention of a less observant viewer
Thanks Ayush
I love all your photos. But the ones of nature are often out of this world, Cherie!
Thank you Claude, that is a big compliment coming from you
