Looks like building towards thunder. I expect that is how this warm spell will end.
The atmosphere feels like thunder. A good storm would clear the air. My office is so stuffy that I am struggling to breath there…
It looks like your heatwave is about to break.
It still hasn’t broken. It was so stuffy and stale in the office that I was struggling to breath. Some kind soul saw me flagging and lent me a desk fan, which helped a lot. I must have looked a bit off because when I was at lunch another lady come across and asked me if I was OK.
It’s when “always look up” makes perfect sense, Cherry.
Yes
Great picture, I like the images of heaven Regards
Thanks for dropping by, I am glad you like my garden heaven
I love the fact that no matter where you are in the world, it’s still virtually the same sky, it’s comforting
However, I’m pretty sure we’ve switched climates with the U.K. this summer, but our temperature is now rising up to 92F today. Can’t we keep yours a little bit longer?
Okay, okay – since you’re suffering in your office, you can have yours back now, I guess
I couldn’t be doing with 92F. My feet would swell up and all I would want to do is and drink refreshing cold drinks all day long!
The first year I lived back home I was shocked to walk into a shop on a hot day only to find it hotter than outside. In Canada pretty much all our shops have air con. I would imagine in our offices it would be considered a health and safety issue to work in the heats you’re describing Cherie.
They are supposed to have an air balancing system but the vents don’t seem to have opened once in the summer. They open in the winter though, causing drafts.
