…The Percy Chantry
The Percy Chantry was built in the 15th-century and is the only part of the priory church to survive complete, although what we see today is the product of renovations. The Chantry has an intricate ceiling composed of intersecting ribs with 33 carved bosses.
Can’t explain why stainless glass windows only very seldom are able to impress me; the first two photos do appeal to me the more.
I am a big fan of stained glass windows. It the way the light plays through them in different lighting conditions. The perfect lighting conditions place colour sparkles on the floor and walls beneath.
The following link is a good example of what I mean:

The light effects can be amazing, indeed.
Photographs of the windows never do them justice. I maybe need to search out some of my photos of more abstract windows so you can understand why I find the play on light through them so appealing
Uff! Did once again I offer the chance to think I would not agree?
I do! Did you happen to visit the Church of St. Nicholas in Moreton?
Nevertheless, I’d like to see some of your more abstract motives.
I was thinking that the subject of the windows put you off enjoying the experience of the talent that makes the windows
I have not visited the Church of St. Nicholas in Moreton. What makes it special?
Hm, all I remember is that I was slightly impressed. The site looks subobtimal, but to give you a glimpse:
Voilà.
Ah yes, I see the beauty

I haven’t visited you for a while. I scrolled through your last posts and like always, I admire your pictures. The graveyard with the church is wonderful. I love the places you visit. HA, would it be great to be able in the morning to do a work out on the beach??
(On the day of our return from the USA, the 23rd of October, I got the big news that I received a contract with the company ‘for life’….. no need to say that we are thrilled to no end , I now I’ll work 4 days a week )
That is brilliant news about your job contract, a wonderful welcome home present
Thank your for your kind words about my photos, I would love to see the places through your photo lens
