It is a place that I could quite easily live. Although I think I would need a cleaner to take care of the housework
What a glorious looking house. Beautiful setting too. Although being used to slopes I don’t envy the gardener.
It was Lady Armstrong that inspired the garden, she had many gardeners to carry out the work. Wait till you see the formal gardens

That is a very fine drawing, showing of the architecture in its full glory. These days it is partly obscured by trees.
Love those big ole homes..sure hate to see heating bills from one of those.

In that top pic, that’s not subsidence is it? Maybe due to rain?
No subsidence. The area was been planted when I visited as is evidenced in some photos yet to post
Classic building. You would have to be there early to get that second view almost people free.
I have another shot from later in the day, that as you say has a lot more people in it!
