That is so true, especially if you can hear the birds singing and smell the flowers bloomin’.

Jane had it right. I can hardly wait for nature to wake up. Great photo, Cherie.

what is it about a bench tucked away in a quiet corner that is so inviting Cherie…
i could sit there for hours and just smell the flowers….peter:)

I could sit there for hours too. I can’t enjoy the smells of the flowers but I can enjoy listening the birds and watching the breeze in the trees and the clouds in the sky and feeling nature :-)

  4. Ginnie says:

Jane Austin knew what she was talking about, of course! :)

What a lovely website you have Cherie. I really like this photograph and the quotation is a perfect match.

  6. Lisl says:

I am with Jane there, Cherie, but how soon the daffodils go over

If I’m looking for you, I’ll look at the benches first.

  8. A shaft of sunlight can change evrything inside a mind, sometimes, thank goodness. The bench is optional for me so long as the sun and a bit of nature is there.

    • CherryPie says:

Yes I agree that shaft of sunlight makes all the difference. The bench is just a place for me to sit and chill out and contemplate the wonders around me :-)

  9. Here is the “e” that fell out on the way

  10. I can spend the whole afternoon there easily.
