That is a beautiful picture. Love it.
So true…we often pinch ourselves, we see the beauty of it all. And we hope to rmember to look for a long time from now.

Thank you :-) I had to be patient to get the shot the wind kept blowing the leaves around. The first few times I pressed the shutter the leaves blew out of the frame!!

Absolutely Cherie. So often we get lost in the details and forget to notice the goodness around us.

Years ago, when I had to earn a living in what is known as ‘the smoke’ (London), I used to drive to Ruislip and travel in on the first train out of the depot. About 6:00 am.
It was all very depressing, even when the sun rose over Harrow. I expect you know that on the tube they put rows of adverts above seats on the opposite side – well one day they started putting up ‘Poems on the Tube’ – just a verse of course. Well, one morning, after not a very good nights sleep and not looking towards another day at work in Hammersmith, a verse from a poem caught my attention and I have never forgotten it. “The Sun will sometimes melt a field of sorrow, that seems hard frozen.”
The full poem is called ‘Sometimes’, but I can’t remember who wrote it. :(
So – Life presents us with sunshine if we remember to look.
Yes, to remember to look up at the adverts on the tube. :)

I nice anecdote from you life :-) As a photographer I always remember to look up ;-) On occasions it sometimes pays to look down too, it is surprising what you might see.

I always read the adverts on tubes, trains and buses ;-)

Have you counted the number of shots you actually have?

    • CherryPie says:

I can’t count the shots because I have done adjustments to some of them, but always keep the original file. The images saved are in their thousands!
