    What a brilliant post Cherie! I once saw Newcastle from the windows of a train as I travelled up to Edinburgh. I’ve wanted to return ever since.

    Good to read the post again in a different format. Strangely enough it’s what I should be dong but I seem to indirectly promote everywhere else :-)
    While I’m on, I can’t remember if I told you that I came across that wonderful door behind the cathedral on a night out. I only discovered it when I took a short cut from the car park.

      No you haven’t told me how you discovered the door before. It was from a fellow blogger JD, that I found out about it :-)
