  1. Did you see the Mary Rose?

Oh!! i do like this Cherie… what a grand tall ship….peter:)

  3. Enjoyed your write-up! As a Pompey lad, I’m inevitably biased and have happy memories of touring Victory and the Dockyard (or Darkyard) many times. But I need to go back and, to my shame, haven’t seen Mary Rose at all!

Great write up and so much to see.
I think I mentioned before that the only time I have set foot in the town was back in 1987. The men of my extended family stood chatting next to the sea while the women went around the shops. With hindsight a waste as I could see HMS Victory in the distance.
Last year I was prevented by a bizarre set of circumstances from doing a charter rail trip for an afternoon in late november.
