Your current “Rest a while with me” bench is quite something. (And I have still never been to Newcastle, other than the road and rail through it and the Gateshead mall, but maybe next year).
I recommend a visit to Newcastle, it is a small but interesting city
As I understand it there are a few of theses benches dotted around the country as part of the WW1 centenary commemorations.
Newcastle is filled with wonderful treasures to photograph Cherie… and you succeeded in framing these four wonderfully ….peter:)
Newcastle is a gem for photographers
It’s one place I’ve yet to visit in your fair country, Cherry. It looks like there are treasures around every corner.
You would love it but it helps to have a friend local to the area to show you the hidden gems
That bridge always reminds me of Sydney’s Harbour Bridge.
Love to visit Australia again!
Another place I have never been
Designed and built by the same people, it pre-dates the Sydney bridge by four years.
The old and the new..
Lots of contrasts
