That’s just lovely. It makes me want to go on a long walk.

The view off the top is worth the walk. Friends have been sharing their views of the bluebells on the lower slopes. By my walking companions have all been busy recently so for now I have missed seeing them.

I first discovered the delights of The Wrekin long before the M54 was built. It is a lovely area. I think with that, the Ironbridge Gorge and the Long Mynd puts Shropshire high on my lists of places I would like to live.

I too first discovered the Wrekin before the M54 was built. I walked on the M54 as it was being constructed. The area was open and accessible and such a large road leading to a wilderness (the landscape had been cleared ready for road construction). As a youngster I found the experience quite unsettling and alarming. A great adventurer I am not ;-)

As to Shropshire, it is a lovely place to live. I am lucky :-)
