The Jesse window is one of the most splendid examples of 14th century stained glass in Europe. This great East Window shows the central story of the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus, surrounded by some earthly ancestors including Jesse, father of King David.*

So where’s Jesse?
You will have to search through the glass panels
That is beautiful and very detailed!
It is very beautiful, I mind a point of tracking it down so that I could look at it
that is gorgeous, Cherie, and so much details in the stained glass.
It is a lovely window
Can you imagine the amount of work it must have taken to do that, Cherry??!
Fascinating
Them Catholics agin. Always with the colourful windows. How they escaped Henry 8 we may not know. Unless Cherie lets us in on the secrets of window survival.
It is a fine window I don’t know the secrets of window survival, but I do enjoy the ones that have survived
