Reflection being the most important point…
Well, looking (around and not only) at your photo one could come to another conclusion.
It always depends on ‘how’ we look as to the conclusions we reach.
Yep, the superficiality lies in the eye of the beholder.
And so does the non-superficiality which is where my own thoughts are and the point of my thought for this week

This is an amazing tree and somebody put in a lot of work. About reflection…. I agree that most people in December look back on the year…. and often the first of January is used as a new start (what mostly only last for 10 days)… or do I miss the meaning of reflection. (look back and change when necessary?
