I couldn’t quite get the angle to frame the moon and the cathedral in the same photograph. I could have done with a bit of time but my companion would probable have got bored and impatient whilst I wandered around for the perfect angle.
The second photo shows the top of one of the trees from the first photo.
I spent just one week of my life in Salisbury but I thought it was a beautiful city, both historically and architecturally. Especially the cathedral!
It is a lovely city to visit. I waited a long time to visit the Cathedral and when I eventually got there, it was worth it
That cathedral is wonderful, Chris, Alan, Lisl took us there two years ago. So much to see in both the city as in the Cathedral.
We first visited the Cathedral in 2014. I had long been waiting after our first visit to Salisbury many years ago. Mr C wouldn’t go in because an entrance fee was expected. thankfully he has changed his mind over the years. I could see his point about paying to enter church, but there is also the point that if there is no revenue the Cathedral would have long since crumbled…
A building I keep returning to, Cherie
I really enjoyed my visit
It is Wells again for me this year
Our cathedrals are such fabulous buildings; I’m always in awe at the work of the stonemasons.
The work of the stonemasons is amazing! The works of art including the windows is also stunning.
He he… if only I could move the moon for you to fit into this frame!
But gotta get a better deal for Brexit first!
You need to work harder on your magical skills with the moon.
Brexit will be fine, the media spreads lots of lies.
i can imgine that. on more than one occasion i have annoyed my travelling partners
good shots, CP.
Thanks Ayush
I am glad it is not just me waiting and exploring for the perfect shot
