The Crypt is the most substantial remnant of St Wulfstan’s Cathedral. The semi-circular end of the crypt reflects the original shape of the main Cathedral above before it was extended in the thirteenth-century. Although the crypt is smaller than when it was built it is still an impressive work of late eleventh-century architecture.*

Oh I don’t remember this crypt!
Been to way too many churches, I guess.
This was my first time at Worcester Cathedral. I would like to go again to explore when it is quieter than it was on this visit
This looks like a wonderful place to visit. I keep meaning to visit Worcester, so I’ll definitely make sure I go to the Cathedral
The Cathedral is well worth a visit. We didn’t get to see the chapter house and the door to the cloister garden was, so I nee to go back for another visit
The mathematical and engineering skills must have been amazing, way back then.
It is fabulous isn’t it
Wow. It’s like another hidden world. Lovely photos.
It was a hidden surprise
It really is impressive, Cherry, and just as I recall it from a few years ago.
It is a special place
