I really love gardens. I would spend my entire day outdoors if there is a pretty garden to sit in.
I love gardens too, If I am on my own I can spend hours in one.
He has a fine view looking down across his garden. I would spend time sitting in the shade of the hut before heading off to the tearoom.
The hut was inviting and the tearoom called out to me
Oh wow, Cherry. Now I wonder if he’s life-sized or LARGER than life? He looks huge.
You know… I can’t remember if he was larger than life or if it was just the angle I took the photograph!
He has his feet almost in the water. Great pictures. The tea house looks very appealing to sit in the shade.
The statue and water feature are lovely. I didn’t get to explore the tea house because Mr C had wandered off and I tried to keep up with him
Oh have you been to Chelsea Physic Garden?
There’s a similar pond there, minus Father Thames.
Oddly the garden is located next to the Thames.
I have not been there yet
You should visit Chelsea Physic Garden (£11) one day.
They used to take part in London Open Garden Squares Weekend every June.
In the past, it was only £7.50, now the Open Garden Squares ticket has gone up to £14.50. Not really worth it any more.
I like my BBC 2for1 garden ticket
