… So what’s new
I am currently in the middle of writing a detailed blog post which I hope to post in the next few days. The blog article is about a place I visited on one of my recent excursions.
But more importantly my mum is moving house and that is no small task, so I will be helping her with that over the next few days.
For now I will leave you with two teaser photographs of my most recent visits, including one that is the subject of the post I am in the process of writing.
No tags, I will add them later
The world of half timbering.
Interestingly that is not the title of my planned blog post!
Ooh those photos are a tease indeed. Looks like a beautiful place.
It is a beautiful place and a work in progress
The bridge looks very Welsh
It is a good place for cycling, I am not sure if you have adventured there with your cycle
That’s very nice.
We enjoyed our visits to both places
You can never go wrong with Tudor architecture, Cherry…or with bridges like that!!!
You would love to visit both place but I think you would especially enjoy the house in the first picture.
Elan Valley?
Maybe
Look forward to all being revealed soon. Good Luck with your mum’s house move. I still have to clear my own mother’s house before it goes on the market and I am just dreading the thought.
Thanks Caroline it has been a stressful time but now mum has moved, although the house isn’t sorted things have calmed down for now.
I sympathise with you having to clear out your mother’s house. My mum had a lot of stuff even after she had cleared out lots of things she didn’t want before she moved. I think we will find that even more things have to go.
I hope you manage to sort out your mother’s house without it being to stressful for you.
Dear Cherie this wonderful that you are writing pretty much detailed post about your recent adventure !
Through these charming images i can realize how amazing it is going to be
will be looking forward for your post my friend!
I hope and pray that your dear mom settle down peacefully in her next residence as this can be exhausting .This is great that you are with her in meanwhile
Thank you so much for your kind words and thoughts. I have found the last few days quite exhausting.
I love my mum’s new residence it has a lovely feel to it. I worked frantically so that her main living space was fully functional on the day after she moved. I had welcome help with unpacking some of the boxes, but then had to move random bits and pieces that had been placed in the room that I knew would be in her way and make her feel depressed.
We now have to work through unpacking the rest of the boxes. The boxes were packed with great care and lots of packing materials (to stop breakages) by the company who moved her belongings to her new house. This means there is a box mountain but when we get inside there are just a few things to be unpacked.
I am so glad that I have my hubby and my mother and father in law to help with various things that need doing
Thank you dear Cherie for such generosity !
i feel so blessed and honored when wonderful wise people like you say such kind and sweet words for my simple opinions about life !
you have beautiful soul and very kind heart as you are standing with your dear mother in difficult time she is facing right now !
she is lucky to have daughter like you my friend!

Dear Shabana, you are a beautiful soul, it shines through in the words that you write.
