    Oddly, I prefer this timber roof to Windsor Castle’s Great Hall!
    It’s a shame that they don’t let you take pictures inside Windsor Castle though.

    I love Bamburgh castle, such a magnificent building both inside and out.

    On two side notes, how do feel about Flickr pro? You were my inspiration for pasting Flickr images onto my site and they want to us to pay again.
    secondly I would have replied to your comment but Im struggling with the comments section and done all the forums say.

      The wind was booming down the chimneys on this last visit due to the start of ‘Storm Ali’. It was alarming but not as alarming as the winds we experienced the next day.

      As to Flickr Pro! It is disappointing, although not unexpected after SmugMug aquired Flickr from Yahoo. To maintain a service the money has to come from somewhere. I often wondered how Flickr could host so many photos and for the service still to be free for the user. I always paid to maintain my Flickr Pro account, on balance I found it a small amount of money to pay. I think the only benefit I got over the free service was ‘no adverts’???

      I hope you get your comments section fixed!
