4 Canon’s Lane

There are many old houses where the bedrooms and living rooms have been beautifully renovated. But there are not too many that offer stunning views of a Cathedral and gardens. I would spend summer sitting outside, surrounded by the trees and flowers.
No 4 Canon’s Lane is a delightful place to stay. Our room had views over the garden and the landing had views towards the Cathedral.
Wow. What a place to stay a while in.
Is there a price list?
The price (per room) ranges between £70 to £120 per night including breakfast. I do not have a Full English Breakfast, just a few breakfast items each morning. I was pleasantly surprised when we checked out. We were advised that the breakfast cost had been discounted because I had only a small breakfast.
Very reasonably priced for such an upmarket place.
Oh gosh – what a superb place to stay in especially with the thought of the lovely views of the Cathedral and gardens
It is a lovely place
This is the room that we stayed in:

a recurring feature seems to be the pointed arches, CP. and the daylight scenes are charming.
The architecture is lovely
This is so wonderful and I love the architecture. It is always fun to walk through these old houses.
It is a lovely place to stay
The entrance and garden are lovely.
We had the weather that we could enjoy them at their best
