Yes, cats do have quite a way about them.
The cat pictured here is really sweet
It all changes if you think of them as just pink brains connected to those eyes… Serpents disguised in cuddly fur… (but I like them).

Cats are in charge of their owners
I often think of humans that way too – it changes your perspective when looking at a fleshy face, whether attractive or not, to regard it as the mere coating over a pink lump of brain that is the person inside. In there we all look much the same. Maybe I should have spent less time in the medical museum as a student; but looking at a brain connected to its entire spinal cord in a tall jar does give pause for thought. But the fur and the flesh does make things nicer for cuddles.
What comes out of that brain gives even more reasons to ponder. Cast aside the appealing or otherwise looks. Behaviours and personalities are also different. All come from the same basic structure…
