I believe there is a subtle magnetism in Nature, which, if we unconsciously yield to it, will direct us aright!

I am sure you will have a large archive of pictures to tide you over the next months, Cherie. This is a stunner

I have a large archive of photos and also a large archive of ideas for blog posts to tide me over for not being able to go on my planned adventures for the forceable future…

Nature will be be better off as a result of the pandemic; perhaps people will come to realise that there are more important things in life than consumerism and commercialism.

    • CherryPie says:

Nature will be better off due to the pandemic. Nature has pressed its reset button.

I am not convinced that people (the stupid selfish people) will even remember there was a problem after the pandemic, unless the problem causes financial problems which is a probabilty.

  3. Bernard from Bucks says:

I wish I was in Telford or Bridgenorth at the moment. It’s hell down here fighting off germs from all directions. However, I’ve been in the garden enjoying the sun all day.
“The Sun will sometimes melt a field of sorrow that seemed hard frozen.”
    Keep safe,
    Bernard.

We have germs here too and stupid people that do not respect the distancing rules. Big problem when I have to go for food supplies.

I have been doing garden walks and pegging washing on the line walks for the past two days.

Pegging on the line walks involves me taking one washing item at a time to peg on the line. Then taking one item off the line to neatly fold after it has dried after flapping in the wind on my washing line :-)

Take care, Love and best wishes,

      CC

I’m a ‘two item & four peg’ man myself. Looking back though, my mum had one big basket load and a peg bag. But I like your idea for the exercise.

I have the same believe. I surely would be liking to spend more time in nature now. We’re not allowed outside, at least for the next three weeks.

    • CherryPie says:

We are allowed outside but silly people are abusing the advice of social distancing so I choose to stay within my own property and garden. I hear people beyond my garden walking along the bridle path, many more people than ever walked there before.

I feared this is what would happen after we were locked down and people were allowed to go for a walk.

People who always walk are sensible and thoughtful know the paths to choose. Others that have never walked before have chosen to walk along those paths because they were told they could go out for a walk. They have not taken on board the importance of social distancing.

  6. I miss the sea already!

    • CherryPie says:

I have missed mother’s day, my mum’s 87th birthday, an upcoming Easter break in Wells (with my mum) and more than likely our early June holiday!

And more annoyingly my quiet walks along my local pathways.
