Our true home is in the present moment. To live in the present moment is a miracle. The miracle is not to walk on water. The miracle is to walk on the green Earth in the present moment…

And, without thought, that is exactly what your lovely heron is doing, Cherie
I was careful not to disturb him
Amen! A timely quote and photo for me, herons are good omens – I wished I had viewed it before my good news today, but can I still consider this “spiritual” confirmation anyway? (See my blog – I didn’t put the link here, but you know where it is.)
Glad to see you’re well and hanging in there, with all of this crazy this year, and that Prince Harry (the Heron, at least) apparently is too!
It has been the weirdest of years. I am glad that you are OK too xx
PS – Your post and recent events inspired me to visit: https://plumvillage.org/about/thich-nhat-hanh/
Interestingly, this quote – also by thich-nhat-hanh – greeted me. You may already know if it, but I thought you and others might also appreciate it
“We have to walk in a way that we only print peace and serenity on the Earth. Walk as if you are kissing the Earth with your feet.”
I like this poem by Thich Nhat Hanh. It was this that introduced me to him several years ago

Good one.
The one, offered by Chrysalis, I do like even more.
Yes it is a lovely quote
This year has certainly reminded me to live more in the moment.
We certainly do and I intend to when the virus has receded far enough into the distance.
A wonderful capture!
Thank you
