Today I was one of the walk leaders at Attingham Park. We only had one walker so we were able to adapt the walk route to show her additional points of interest. It was the hottest day of the year so far so the cool breezes from the river and shade from the woodland were quite welcome.
Later, after visiting mum in the care home we enjoying ‘fine dining’ on the patio before watching the sun set and the moon rise.

The gardens are looking just beautiful. How lucky for your walker that she got a bespoke tour.
She was enjoying herself so (after asking her) we walked the long way round
I see the invitation to this exquisite little garden soiree was tragically lost in the post. How utterly devastating for us both!?
Do enjoy the moonlight, I shall simply sit in the dark and weep.
You keep forgetting to tell me when you are available.
Time waits for no man
Off course a ‘fine dining’ experience in the garden is never guaranteed – the weather decides.
