I noticed yesterday that there were very few people out walking in the cold, Cherie – but it was well worth your venturing
Non sunny days are always the best days to avoid crowds when walking locally
It’s starting to look a lot like spring!
The first signs of spring are uplifting for the spirit
And you even took your trolley?
At least it hasn’t been dumped in a pond or stream, yet. Some people do spoil things.
HaHaHa
I agree that some people spoil things. I have seen trolleys dumped in all sorts of places near to me.
This photo doesn’t give a true perspective of where the trolley was dumped.
It was dumped at the side of a busy road and I was on a pathway below a steep embankment below the road.
That cart must be making a world tour, too, just like Prince Harry the Heron, because we see it in our park here in America, too lol.
A belated Happy Easter to you, glad to see you’re enjoying the improved weather
I also wanted to give my condolences regarding Prince Philip, I believe you were fond of him? We Americans surely were
I admire our queen and how she has performed her duties over many years (as she promised) despite adversities that she has had to face over the years.
Prince Philip has supported her for over 70 years, never seeking the limelight, both of them enjoying each others company and support.
I am feeling so sad for our Queen, she has had a difficult year, non of it her own making. Now she has to face the future without her ever constant life companion.
I wonder if one of our Princes will feel guilty about his recent behaviour and maybe regret not visiting his grandfather and grandmother when he had the ‘Covid Restriction window opening’ to be able to do so.
Rest in peace Prince Philip.
I admire your Queen, too, as I did Philip
As for anyone feeling guilt or regret, I’m sure these emotions are felt privately, but it’s not likely we’d know, as publicly expressing any more private, personal sentiment, to include publicly expressing remorse or regret for past mistakes, isn’t their thing, and I get why – it must be hard to balance, when it’s appropriate to show emotion/express private sentiment and when not to?
However, I’m quite sure they’ve all made mistakes and have regrets, particularly in their youth, from the Queen on down – and that doesn’t make the bad people – it makes them flawed human beings, like we all are
Thus, I will pray for them – not for anyone to feel guilt or blame, but them all to better understand one another, as well as to learn from past mistakes and grow as individual people, and grow together as a family …
Yes we are all flawed and have made mistakes that is what makes us who we are today
I was just pondering on possible regret…
PS – Just wanted to add that I feel sorry for everyone in that family – but my first thoughts went to another tragic loss for the Queen and for those two boys
a nice walk by the looks of these shots, especially i like the composition on the shopping cart, CP.
Thanks Ayush
