    I hadn’t ever seen the inside of the hotel rooms, but the exterior is very impressive. And the views of Newcastle Quayside, as one of your photos shows, are also very impressive.

      The views from the quayside at night are quite something :-)

      Depending on which side of the hotel you arrive at you maybe entering through the basement or at the reception area. The lift always stops at the reception level causing confusion for those who haven’t stayed there before.

      It is a lovely and quirky feature of the hotel being built on a sloping area.
