I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o’er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils

      I learned about Dorothy’s description many years ago when we visited Dove Cottage many years ago.

    One solitary daffodil in my garden and when I woke up this morning it was snowing :(
