I have not heard of a month of not mowing, in order that pollinators can get on with their life’s work. Does it work? Has the idea spread to other countries?

  2. Its a lovely idea I think and good for insects and wildlife. We have done it for part of our garden and do have a wild flower meadow area at the top of the garden which attracts bees and butterflies.

  3. But these white flowers are poison hemlocks, right?
I know honey from produced rhododendron is not safe for human consumption.

    I think it’s a good idea.
The pollinators need all the help we can give them.

    All the best Jan
