That place looks so peaceful. How lovely.
It is a lovely place and one of my favourite benches is there.
Looks a lovely walk home. Years ago when my children were little I used to spend an afternoon a week at their primary school hearing children read. It was very rewarding especially when the poorer readers made progress.
I know what you mean about the less able readers making progress. I also love it when they ask for help with words
As long as you can walk past your favourite bakery shop, I am sure it’s worth the extra few steps.;)
The bakery shops are in the other direction and probably closed at that time of day. I need to investigate
