The sun had got its hat on so it would have been rude not to go out for lunch.

Hodnet Hall provides lovely lunches and cakes, a perfect choice. The gardens are lovely at this time of year with colourful blooms in flower and bluebells along the pathway.

The weather was a little chilly and the sky rather overcast leading to a walk that blew away the cobwebs. Along the way a encountered two former colleagues and a Police Officer looking for a homeless person with an aggressive dog setting up a shelter in the woodland area.

I am really enjoying my volunteering opportunity in Visitor Reception at Attingham Park. I work alongside some lovely people both permanent staff and volunteers.

One of our friends arranged a breakfast gathering because her family were over from Germany for a few days.
There was much fun and laughter and the extensive menu options proved a challenge for some. For me, the small vegetarian breakfast hit the sweet spot.
