After lunch I donned my #walk1000miles 2020 badge and set off on a local walk. Due to having guests for an evening meal to celebrate New Year’s day I wasn’t able to venture further afield.
Along the way I was able to sit on one of my favourite benches and watch the antics of the ducks [...]

Walk 1000 Miles 2019
On 4th December, I completed my 1000 miles for 2019. I decided then that I would try to complete my personal pledge to walk 1000 miles in 365 days starting from 1st March which was when I first encountered #walk1000miles. I have today completed that pledge and have walked 1000 miles from the 1st March – [...]

Taormina – Day Twelve

As soon as Mr C [...]

Taormina – Day Eleven
We arrived at breakfast bright and early I opted for the Sicilian breakfast option of Granita and Brioche which I found refreshing. Suitably replete we walked to the bus station to catch a bus to Giordanno-Naxos. When we arrived in Giordanno-Naxos I suggested to Mr C that we checked the location of our return pick [...]
