The Flodden memorial stands in memory of the tragic loss of lives during the Battle of Branxton Moor.

Ribble Head Viaduct

The viaduct is on the Settle-Carlisle Railway line. It has 24 arches, is 100 feet high and 440 yards long.

Rising Moon

Today at the office one of my colleagues mentioned a comment they had overheard from someone who was in the building before most people arrive for the work day…

I noticed a reflection in the glass this morning and when I turned round I saw an ‘apparition’ it moved across the room and out through the door. I know you will think I am stupid, but when I think of it my face tingles.

Not a direct quote, but that is the gist of the comment.

It reminded me of Strange Goings On. There have been repeat instances of footfalls and the feeling of a presence in that part of the building…
