Within the Church of St Mary Magdalene shrubbery, the ice house that served Croome Court can be found. The ice house became overgrown and filled with rubble when it ceased to be used in 1915.

At breakfast we were served with the first proper cup of tea of the weekend. Two individual pots of tea that were brewed to perfection.

Built in the mid 14th century, St Michael and All Angel’ church, situated next to Croft Castle is a Grade 2 listed building. Some of the features we see today are later additions to the church building.
