Yesterday I managed a fleeting visit to Wollerton Old Hall Garden.  The weather was a bit drizzly so it was not a day for lingering and sitting  down to enjoy the view.  The gardens were lovely as ever and I managed to get a few pictures without hordes of people in the way which was quite a feat.

I also found more evidence that autumn has arrived…

Am running out of superlatives, young lady! And that’s a good thing. A new take on my favourite season – I’ll be back to look at these again … thanks, Cherie!

  7. Autumn is so beautiful with its vibrant colours and matured plants. A favorite of the seasons yet I feel a haunting twinge of melancholy whenever it arrives. Delightful photos.
