Yesterday I managed a fleeting visit to Wollerton Old Hall Garden. The weather was a bit drizzly so it was not a day for lingering and sitting down to enjoy the view. The gardens were lovely as ever and I managed to get a few pictures without hordes of people in the way which was quite a feat.
I also found more evidence that autumn has arrived…
You managed a fleeting visit? How fleeting?
Less than an hour I should think… I didn’t really time it to closely.
Autumn is not far off. I can see the garden shutting down little by little
I think summer has not quite cast itself off where you are.
Autumn, yes.
I love autumn
what fantastic photos

Thank You
WWowww, Cherie your garden photos are timeless
Glad you like them
Am running out of superlatives, young lady! And that’s a good thing. A new take on my favourite season – I’ll be back to look at these again … thanks, Cherie!
Thank You It is my favourite season too
Autumn is so beautiful with its vibrant colours and matured plants. A favorite of the seasons yet I feel a haunting twinge of melancholy whenever it arrives. Delightful photos.
I always find the melancholy affects me as Autumn passes rather than on its arrival.
