You are quaffing drink from a hundred fountains: whenever any of these hundred yields less, your pleasure is diminished. But when the sublime fountain gushes from within you, no longer need you steal from the other fountains.

“You are quaffing drink….” popped up on the side of my blog. How could I resist surfing over to investigate?
Not quite what I had in mind.
I’m not a great drinker of water, you see. Just look what water does to the bottom of a ship!
I do however love fountains…….which is why, I suppose, I love Italy.
And…….Italian red wine.
It did make me smile as I posted it
As it happens I do have a small glass of red to hand right now
I think you will love the fountain I will be posting in a few days time.
One of those quotes we all need to memorize, Cherie! Beautiful image to accompany it, too!
It is a nice quote isn’t it?
I love fountains, they are so graceful.
I like water features in general
Ah Rumi is an excellent choice. such beautiful poetry
Glad you like the choice
A little beyond the average bear, that one.
Wasn’t that Winnie?
