IMG_6669 copy fullRecently I sent my Points Pedometer back because it had developed a fault and I couldn’t reset it.  I received a parcel on Saturday  which should have been my pedometer.  I was looking forward to using the pedometer because my temporary one rattles rather loudly and makes it sound like I have a few loose nuts and bolts inside me.  When I opened the parcel I noticed the letter was addressing a different problem than the one I had mentioned.  On closer inspection it looked very much like I have received someone else’s pedometer in error, mostly because it had the packaging with it and I sent mine back without.  It also had the wrong returns number written on the paperwork.  But the pedometer does seem to have the fault that I returned mine with…

I tried ringing customer services and did get to speak to a very helpful lady but the department I need is only open on weekdays.  I will have to call again today and see what they say.

I have used the above photo to add a link to my weight loss posts in my sidebar. The photo reminds me of how long I kept my weight off last time, so I know it is possible and I can do it again.

Excuse my ignorance but is that a picture of a pedometer? If so I think I may be able to see why it rattles. Are you perhaps missing the obvious?

The thin end of the wedge!!!

I have been keeping and eye the way online apps and sites are able to track and predict what you might be interested in. In the last few weeks Google have moved on a pace in that respect. Benign on the face of it but coupled with…

The card will also have extended functionality, including the ability to enable citizens to identify themselves in the internet by using the ID card with a reading device at home. After registering an online account bonded to the ID card, are able to do secure online shopping, downloading music and most importantly interact with government authorities online, for example.

The thin end of the wedge, indeed.

It is coming from so many different angles.

Take for instance the “new initiative” from that traitor, PM Camoron, and his community initiatives, and look at the source and how it has evolved.
All in the name of “control”, of course, always with our best interests at heart!

Yes interesting indeed! Which reminds me that last week while the council were collecting the recycling bins they were also checking and taking notes outside each house!!!

Oh and I never did like the way those big supermarkets track people’s shopping habits…

At the moment the government are just trying to soften up the people so that when the bad things are pushed their way they will just accept them and probably even think they are good under the circumstances.
