Outstanding poppy! One of my favourite flowers.
They are one of my favourites too, I am glad you like it
Another beautiful combination Cherie!
Thanks
Now that one comes right at you!
Can you see my enigmatic smile
Incredibly beautiful in itself. Thank you for sharing it.
I love the way the raindrops enhance the flower
It is indeed a thing a beauty. Such a nice color also on the poppy with the accent of rain drops.
Thanks Marta
I love close ups of flower petals. Poppies are a very regal flower, I find.
Lovely quote too, Cherie.
I love poppies they are so delicate and fragile but also so bold. I find them a bit of a contradiction.
Glad you like the quote
Both parts beautiful. Thank you, CP.
Thanks Calum, glad you enjoyed it
Wonderful Cherie!
I love your photos of the Wenlock Priory too!
Looks like a must visit spot to me
Jeanne
Thank You
I would love very much to see your views of Wenlock Priory.
I have a few more pictures from there to share
I couldn’t have said it or shown it better!
Thanks Ginnie
It is truly lovely in its own right but I must risk being torn to pieces for the observation there is something sensationally feminine about this pic.
I have to admit I hadn’t noticed that until you mentioned it… But now you have it reminds me of one of the sculptures I photographed at Chatsworth
This gorgeous (but I had to think about the quote!)
And the rose below is very unusual and lovely in its colour.
I was looking at your photo again. It really is absolutely delicious. It would make an ideal greeting card.
I hoped the quote would make people think
The rose is the one I bought in the memory of my Dad on what would have been his birthday which is why a smiled when it had an unexpected late flourish of blooms.
If you want to use the piccie for a card, feel free xx
I wish I could write like you as Margaret Laurence once said “When I say “work” I only mean writing. Everything else is just odd jobs.”
