Thinking doesn’t pay.  Just makes you discontented with what you see around you.

Sometimes we’re too tired to think, Cherie, and in that case, it definitely pays to NOT even try. HA! Thankfully we don’t have to think when seeing such a lovely image. :)

It do find it very difficult to think when I am tired and sometimes I like days when I don’t have to think and I can just relax ;-)

Men have made fortunes through bright ideas and even the daftest concepts were sold.

“Cogito ergo sum” – I think therefore, I exist. :)
If I didn’t exist, you would be free of all my little gems! :) or :(
Actually, I was only thinking this morning as I watched Hazel gazing at the wall, is she thinking? I am told that because animals do not have a vocabulary, they are not capable of thought. I don’t believe this for one moment. I see them sit and ponder as to what to do next.
I also thought – “She doesn’t know that she is getting old and may not have many years left.” She looked content. :)
We do realize our age and know our approximate life expectancy. :(
I then think – I shall not exist.

    • CherryPie says:

Maybe that is too much thinking ;-)

I agree with you that animals are capable of thought. I sometimes watch next doors cats trying to find a way to sneak around me to get into my house. They know they shouldn’t go in and they try all sorts of tactics to make me think they up to something else entirely :-)

  4. Wow Heinlein does have a bag full of great quotes

There are some excellent ones. Some are a little too controversial for me to post though… Or maybe I should just throw cation to the wind ;-)

Thinking??? What’s that? Those flowers are so elegant….

And yet look at the result of no thinking around us in the society.

  7. These white tulips look like crocuses from this angle. :)
Did you have a good weekend?
    What did you do?

I went to the New Forest.
Of course, I saw a lot of ponies. :)

    • CherryPie says:

      They are unusual Tulips.

I had a good weekend thankyou, although it was just admin work. Next weekend hopefully I can get out and about with my camera :-)

  8. Mickie Brown says:

Don’t have a clue what kind of flower that is, but it certainly is lovely. And, yes, thinking can certainly be upsetting sometimes, but what else do we have to do!!! Mickie :)

  9. Magnifiques textures, magnifiques formes… Une belle composition.
