I couldn’t leave Belsay and it’s delights without showing you some views of the quarry garden.
My next stop will be Alnwick Garden and some views of my first summer visit there.

What a delightful place! I would gladly sit there for hours…
It was a lovely place for a walk
I have never heard of this really rather interesting looking castle. Thanks for directing me to it.
It was my first visit and I would love to go back
Wow, this Belsay looks like a huge place to explore!!!
Have you been to Cheddar Gorge in Somerset?
This Quarry Garden looks like a mini Cheddar Gorge.
It has been a while since I have been to Cheddar Gorge but now you come to mention it, it is reminiscent
Belsay – looks like such an amazing place and space. One in which you could get totally lost. So quiet and peaceful!
It is a lovely place with some unusual plants due to the micro climate
That is such a beautiful garden. Thanks for sharing!
It is lovely and unusual
Wonderful shots. Many people would miss this if they visited as they would be too concerned about getting to the castle and give this section minor consideration. I would guess that it took you a while for the path to clear and compose these images … it was worth the wait, these are good.
I really enjoyed the walk around the quarry garden, but I do love a love of gardens.
I did have to wait a bit to take the photos, it was actually worse by the castle though.
Thank you
