Yeah!
Why would I come to think of that it is not easy to illustrate ‘broken promises’?
You have got me wondering…
Does the picture display a broken promise?
Or more worryingly have I inadvertently broken a promise? :-/
Ah, no. Otherwise ruins would be survivors of such promises, hm?
Well, and if you inadvertently broke a promise, Mylady: How could I know?
Just the word “Broken” it was that let me think of certain politicians and those behind them.
Were it easy to illustrate broken promises, I am sure, we would see faces. Many faces.
Ah! No! Really! I do not want to see their faces anymore!
No chance oh well: Illusion broken.:
Ah now politicians and broken promises. It is probably just as well that I don’t often post pictures of people
Roman? Ah yes… A prophesy from NostraCherrymus:
The Italian economy.
Greek ruins look quite limited compared to the Italian ones spread across Europe, and about to spread again. Are these German and Chinese visitors I see, hopelessly trying to prop things up?
A fine metaphor for our times.
Maybe I need to start a photolog of metaphors of our times which can be used by others in years to come. Hoping they will not make the same mistakes…
Those are very old rocks, Cherry
Very old indeed
It’s really broken, Cherie. I would never try to put this together again.
Some of the stone was taken away and forms part of other buildings now.
Great blog, thanks for sharing! Have a really nice weekend.
Thanks Mats, I hope you have a good weekend too
Broken but beautiful, love your photos!
Thanks Annie
Beautiful landscape photo that fits this week’s Photo Hunt theme very well.
Thanks YTSL
Your broken ruin is much, much older than mine. And more accessible!
Thank you, I will be over to have a look
A very interesting kind of “broken”
There is a wealth of history around that area.
