As  one cycle of the 52 photos project completes new cycle begins.  I looking forward to starting this cycle from day one rather than half way through like I did last year. Bella is promising deeper themes for this year, I hope I am up to the challenge ;-)

When Little Red Riding Hood arrived at her grandmother’s house she was surprised to find that the door was open:

She called out: ‘Good morning,’ but received no answer; so she went to the bed and drew back the curtains. There lay her grandmother with her cap pulled far over her face, and looking very strange.

‘Oh! grandmother,’ she said, ‘what big ears you have!’

‘All the better to hear you with, my child,’ was the reply.

‘But, grandmother, what big eyes you have!’ she said.

‘All the better to see you with, my dear.’

‘But, grandmother, what large hands you have!’

‘All the better to hug you with.’

‘Oh! but, grandmother, what a terrible big mouth you have!’

‘All the better to eat you with!’

And scarcely had the wolf said this, than with one bound he was out of bed and swallowed up Red Riding Hood.*

Now, there is a “new year” entry with pizazz :)

I like the creative boundary exploration you did, here, on both the theme of “conversation” and the “conversation” itself – proves you belong at at site called “Vision and Verb” ;)

Thanks Chrystal, those ladies do challenge me to put words to my photos ;-)

I did think of another photo I could use before I found this one, but it needed a little work on it. When I found this one I knew this was the best one for the theme.

  2. I thought I’ve seen this somewhere before!
    And I was right! :)
    Couple of years ago thou…

    >…British Museum and I am due another visit!

Are you coming to see the Pompeii exhibition?

Have you been to the Wallace Collection?
If not, you should really visit it. :)

Three years ago to be precise ;-)

I didn’t know about the Pompeii exhibition, how long is it on for?

I have not seen the Wallace collection, I have added to my list of ‘To See’!

      Thank you :-)

      • >Pompeii exhibition

Till the end of September. It’s a big one.

        >the Wallace Collection

        It’s a “must see”. ;)
It’s not far away from Selfridges! He he..

I went to visit Red House (NT) yesterday.
Today, I visited Ham House (NT).

        Ham House was terrific!
Maybe you should also add it to your list.

        • CherryPie says:

I have not been to either of those NT properties despite being a long time member of the NT.

The question from me is… When are you going to show me you pictures from Shropshire?

          :-)

  3. Bella says:
