I did go down in that one, it was part of the trip. I don’t mind heights if I am fully enclosed. The view was fantastic
Wow! The views from that cable car must be amazing. I was fascinated with cable cars when I was kid. That one is spectacular.
Yes the views were stunning and half way down we swapped over into the small gondolas for the final descent.
Wow – stunning view – you wouldn’t catch me on the cable car though I would have my eyes closed the whole way up.

I am fine until the cable car stops mid air. I know it’s perfectly safe and happens from time to time. You just feel a bit vulnerable, swinging in the wind..
The first time I ever traveled on a cable car/gondola it stopped in mid air. It was many years ago and it was a very tiny gondola compared to those of today, it stopped mid air and was swinging in the breeze. I had no idea what was going on.
The people who had chosen to stay in the village rather journey up the mountain with us heard an alarm horn and thought that there had been an accident in the mountains and were left wondering if we were OK.
It’s pretty scary to look down as the cable car goes all the way up!
As the car is all enclosed I have not problem, but looking down heights if I am not enclosed has a very strange effect on me.
Ha ha if in doubt always look up.
It’s safer than looking down.
Unless you have labyrinthitis, then you could have a dizzy turn…
great views. I am like you, I can tolerate heights as long I have something solid to put my firmly upon.
