Whilst I was in the office today I was busily getting on with some work when I heard someone say ‘there is a teddy bear walking past the building’. I thought this was a rather odd thing to say and carried on working. Then someone started to laugh and I looked up to see several people standing and staring out of the windows behind me. I turned round to see what they were looking at. I couldn’t see anything so I stood up for a better look. Just at that moment a life sized teddy bear appeared in front of the nearest window and waved at me!!
The bear then proceeded past the window and in through the main entrance to our building. A few minutes later he walked into the office accompanied by a human carrying a bucket to collect money for the charity ‘Help for Heroes’. It was only after the arrival of the bear that we received an email advising us to expect his presence in the building.
I see the communication at your company is as fast as the communication at our company.
I think this is a wonderful thing to raise money.
It went off very well, there were crowds of people milling around.
LOL. Better late than never, I guess?!
I suppose the thought was there even if it was belated!
Well, of course! At least it brightens the day!
It was all for a good local cause and in support of an event that took place locally yesterday.
OMG that must have made your day, Cherie! I think that is great!
* Was your site down yesterday? I was worried…
The people sitting next to the window were certainly taken by surprise!!
Yes the server keeled over again. I wasn’t expecting it to be fixed until tomorrow. But it seems tech support and the engineers were working on bank holiday monday…
You can always find me here with a message if my blog isn’t working:

Do they know what caused it?
The server needs a kick start/decoke from time to time. It happens from time to time.
Was the bear well-spoken, Cherie?
The Bear’s human companion advised us that the Bear was not allowed to speak!!
Did you donate any money? Help for Heroes and Hounds for Heroes are two of my favourite charities to support.
Of course I donated
It is a worthy cause
