Summer in England has arrived unseasonably late. I am not complaining, the days have been warm enough for me to enjoy sitting out on the patio reading a book watching the sun go down.

The weather in England has been strange this year. When we were on holiday in Slovenia we were told that they had experienced and exceptionally warm summer.

When we visited Piran the weather was hotter than normal, it had been all summer long.
