All too soon I am back from my most recent travels…
Whilst I am sorting out the photographs from my Northumberland travels I will share a few more posts about my stay in Stoberry House.

All too soon indeed. Amazing how time speeds up.
The opportunities to slow down time must when possible always be taken
“”The opportunities to slow down time must when possible always be taken”"
I like that, Cherie
ah but, Cherie – “time must have a stop”
“it is only by deliberately paying our attention and our primary allegiance to eternity that we can prevent time from turning our lives into a pointless or diabolic foolery”

Synchronicity! Huxley was quoting Harry Hotspur’s dying words in Shakespeare’s King Henry IV, Part 1
Hotspur of course being Northumberland’s own Henry Percy.
And under an inauspicious sky time stopped for Henry in a field not far from where I live. (More synchronicity?)
We made a point of of looking (again) at the fabulous statue of him in Alnwick castle on our recent visit there.

Where next?
Winchester
Looking forward to seeing the view FROM the rooftop!
The view from the rooftop was enclosed by the fabulous stonework of the hotel in the foreground and trees with birds and the occasional squirrel in the background.
