This bridge and the river view it offers: spectacular.
The river view has changed since 2019
The view is and always will be beautiful.
Oh did they repaint the bridge red? I think it was blue last time I saw it??
I see you haven’t been following the restoration story!
During restoration it was painted to a colour of some paint layers below. Their belief is that it has been restored to its original colour. Personally I think what English Heritage has seen is the protective coating as the bridge was constructed and transported.
The bridge has become an anomaly within its landscape.
