It’s a few years since I walked the Shropshire Hills, and it is a delight to see your pictures of them. You must have so enjoyed walking there
It was lovely to be out in the open hillside.
I was reminded that I need to invest in some walking poles to help my balance on rocky areas.
What stunning views – must have been a lovely walk. When I see the Long Mynd I always think of those Malcolm Saville books I read as a child set there!
It was a lovely walk and yes the views were amazing. I would have chosen better shoes if Mr C had advertised this was where we were going to go for a walk.
He was on the mission for a drive but I requested that we needed to stop off for a walk along the way
Someone else remembers Malcolm Saville!
Another one on the list. We almost made it there in June. Lovely photos, CP!
I hope you make it. I would love to read your take on the history
This place is so beautiful.
Reminded me so much of Brecon.
I miss both Wales and Shropshire so much now.
I live in a beautiful part of the country. The borderlands between Shropshire and Wales.
Ha ha! Lucky you!
I have to admit every county is different and beautiful.
But I still think Cornwall is the prettiest.
Followed by East Anglia, then Yorkshire or Cumbria.
What are your top 3 favourites?
Maybe… Northumberland, Yorkshire, Wales…
I like Cornwall but have always found it too busy. I have unfinished business in Norfolk so maybe that will replace my current choices.
Oh, I have been to Bamburgh Castle.
Though I don’t remember much of it now.
Actually, I quite enjoy the Scottish Highlands too.
this is a wonderful of the valley Cherie… that is a great picture of Mr C and the one of you looking out to what he is seeing….peter:)
Thank you
