During our visit to Petworth we saw some of the painted elephants that were part of Elmer’s Art Parade.

  1. I love those painted elephants – just superb. We went to a display of painted elephants (different ones) that had been on a trail round Worcester.

Wow. That looks wonderful. Have to visit. Putting it on my list.
I asume you have to pay a fee to visit the estate?

  3. Chrysalis says:

So that is one of the oldest surviving copies of the original Holbein painting of Henry VIII (the original being lost to fire), actually also done by Holbein’s studio, is that right or no? I wasn’t clear on that in a quick search.

  4. Have you ever seen anything so full of splendour?!
    Look at the ceilings!

Oh, we have an elephant parade trail in London many years ago.
This year, we have “Morph” and I took so many pictures of it.
It’s so nostalgic cos I remember Morph from the telly when I was little in Malaysia!
And the music from Take Hart. :)
