Cooking in one pot looks impressive and saves a lot of washing up
I love one pot cooking
This reminds me of what we here in India call “biryani”, a fragrant and flavorful rice dish that also has meat or vegetables, and spices.
I am not sure if it is authentic to native Indian cuisine but my favourite dish in an Indian UK restaurant is Chicken Tikka Biryani. The rice is mixed with the tikka chicken an the vegetable biryani is served separately.
I love the flavours.
